SOS alerts
SOS alerts are urgent messages for emergencies such as accidents or natural disasters. You can find them via the SOS icon on the bottom navigation bar, and you can also publish your own SOS messages.
Please note: The SOS feature in PalmSpace does not replace regular emergency calls (fire department, emergency medical services, police, etc.). It is intended to facilitate mutual aid and social engagement in emergency situations.
SOS alerts appear immediately after publication and are automatically deleted after three months unless they are manually deleted by the sender or extended for an additional month.
The range of the SOS alerts extends up to 500 km from your current location.
The sender of an SOS message reveals their location from which the message is sent when publishing it. Unlike regular activities, there is no option to set a pseudo-location in the vicinity.
SOS alerts can be sorted according to the following criteria:
- Distance
- Sender
- Valid from
- Valid until
You can also publish, edit, and delete your own SOS messages at any time.
